9th of December 1939<\/strong>\u2007Birth of Roseline Lubrano di Scampamorte in Marseilles.

1st of September 1960<\/strong>\u2007She married Alain Moreu at the town hall. Then they went to church for the religious ceremony, which must have surprised the priest, since during all premarital counselling sessions including confession, their friend Claude Nolin had pretended to be the future husband.

5th of March 1963<\/strong>\u2007In Marseilles, Roseline gave birth to the twins, Jean-Claude and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois.

1965<\/strong>\u2007After watching the film\u00a0\u201cLes Gendarmes\u201d, the couple decided to move to Saint-Tropez.

1972<\/strong>\u2007Works designed by Marc Berthier are undertaken on Alain\u2019s dental surgery on rue Gambetta.

25th of December<\/strong>\u2007Birth of S\u00e9bastien.

1973-1975<\/strong>\u2007She travelled to China, Nepal and the United States.

1975<\/strong>\u2007Takeover and reopening of the oldest shop in Saint-Tropez which was no longer in use and was located on the ground floor of the dental surgery. In collaboration with the designer Marc Berthier, a sort of \u201cbazaar concept\u201d was invented and the shop would become in just a few years one of the very first concept store.


1982<\/strong>\u2007In her flat which was also her office, on the first floor, she reinvented the shop again with matte grey tiling, a galvanised iron wall system and a customer display counter.


The 1980s<\/strong>\u2007The charming bazaar concept shop has become a world-famous multi-brand address, acclaimed by the international press and frequently referred to by top designers, including Joseph Ettedgui, the fashion designer and Sir Conran.


2013<\/strong>\u2007For the shop\u2019s 111th anniversary, Marc Berthier and Roseline transformed the Galeries Trop\u00e9ziennes for the third time, with the addition of a chic bazaar on the street and a useful item shop in the former storeroom.

March 2016<\/strong>\u2007Death of Roseline Moreu in Saint-Tropez.

Helped over the last few years by her eldest son Jean-Claude and his partner Iryna Zakharchenko, Roseline was getting ready to hand over the reins to her granddaughter Pauline, who is now in charge of the institution and is preparing a fourth quiet revolution.

2017<\/strong>\u2007The MARFA JOURNAL magazine dedicated a book to her which was entitled \u201cLa Dame des Galeries Trop\u00e9ziennes\u201d.

Although they appear to be a venerable, traditional, and even nostalgic institution, the Galeries Trop\u00e9ziennes have always been and continue to be just like Ozi was : authentic, discreet, passionately in tune with the times and driven by a real curiosity about the future. You have to know where you come from to know who you are, and more importantly, where you are going.
